Family Child Care
Established in 2001, Foundations for Learning is a license exempt family child care home owned and operated by Aileen Ramsey. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and over thirty years teaching experience. I was nominated for and received the 2005 Excellence in Child Care Award and can provide you with many wonderful references. My mission is to provide quality, reliable child care in a nuturing environment that fosters the growth and development of children.
The house is set far back from the road and families enjoy having their own entrance right into the large, open play room. The play room offers many different interest areas and ample opportunity for children to play with friends or find a quiet spot to be alone. Everyone has their own cubby for personal belongings and for the many masterpieces created throughout the day.
With the safety of the children in mind, the play room was designed with direct access to the play yard through the back door. The children spend lots of time outside in the large, fenced play yard. They enjoy running, climbing, sliding, playing in the sand box & tending their flower and vegetable gardens. Nice weather will find them enjoying their lunches at the picnic tables in the yard.
